52 Week Project ::Week 8:: Low Light

February 25, 2014  •  4 Comments

This week's assignment was fun.  LOW LIGHT!!!  I almost immediately knew I'd capture my son with the iPad, something that he's glued to sometimes.  But we never let him have it in bed.  For this assignment, I let him so that I can capture what I call the "zombie stare" as he watches Scooby Doo episodes on Netflix.  ;)  The ISO is at 25,000 on these, so I'm embracing the grain.  Enjoy both the color and B&W versions.  I can't tell which one I like best.

Please take a look at the other backlit photos in my blog circle. Check out LaShawn's submission and then follow the links all the way back to mine again!

iPads were a popular lighting choice this week! I love the black and white one as well, and for the same reason as Michele - you can see his sweet face. I recognize that zombie expression from my kids too! Haha

I like the black and white best. No distraction from his face.
